Introductory Series ‘Class 4: Dutch Bouquet’ with Anthony Maslo of The Boy Who Cried Flowers
February 18 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Class Four is a fresh and modern take on a traditional look- the Dutch Hand Tied Bouquet, which is a popular and necessary mechanic in floral design. Students will learn the principals of this design style and how the look is reminiscent of a Dutch still life painting. Focusing on mechanics, the class will learn the construction of the bouquet and how to evenly distribute elements with stems going to the same direction. Students will learn which flowers to pick and which go first, how to condition those flowers for longevity, and how to ensure the stems look organized and fluid.
