Photographs of floral designs can often be the only record of a beautiful design or concept. In this workshop students will learn how to take a professional still life photo using a traditional SLR camera and their iPhone, as well as learn how good photos impacts marketing, branding and client outreach.
Renowned floral artist and wedding specialist, Summer Robbins will lead this workshop, geared towards florists and designers who want to perfect their technical skills and learn more refined techniques in contemporary bridal bouquet styles. You will learn professional hand-wiring techniques and the best practices for creating magical bouquets with exquisite flowers, foliage, ribbons and pins. Blending a love for all things romantic and a passion for botanicals, Summer is known for using her client’s own love story as inspiration. Each student will leave with two stylish bouquets, made with the guidance and instruction of this talented designer.

Focusing on local flowers and foliage, Tara will choose products that speak to her deep admiration for all things Autumnal. This 3-day Event Planning series is for florists, caterers, event planners or anyone planning an event. Students will learn the workflow, fundamentals and best way to realize a fully planned event. In this simulated project management course, we will show you how to plan an event from start to finish. You will meet your Client, and learn how to create layouts, timelines, and budgets, as well as the elements of design. You will also learn about vendor relations and get to meet real industry professionals.
Evergreen wreaths have always been a favorite Holiday decoration and we are providing an opportunity for those interested in learning the mechanics with the aide of an experienced designer. This workshop provides the opportunity to create a beautiful, handcrafted Holiday wreath, while learning a few professional techniques of floristry. You then get to take your handcrafted wreath home to enjoy! A great experience for any flower enthusiast or group of friends to enjoy!
In this course, Anthony will focus on sustainable practices by guiding students in arranging planted centerpieces celebrating the holiday season . Who doesn’t love a centerpiece that will live well beyond the party? Anthony will share some of his tips for choosing plants and flowers that will complement each other as well as speak to the yuletide season. With Anthony’s guidance, each student will produce a stunning, living arrangement featuring some of his favorite blooming plants such as Amaryllis and Paperwhites, as well as Succulents and Air plants.
In this course, Anthony will lead students in creating unique arrangements celebrating the holiday season. Learn how to avoid the obvious cliches and typical choices. Anthony will share some of his favorite color palettes as well as discuss the popular trends of today when it comes to “decking the halls”. With Anthony’s guidance, each student will produce a stunning arrangement featuring some of his favorite blooms such as anthuriums, tulips, and of course, uniquely colored roses.
In this workshop, you will have over 40 essential oils to choose from and will learn how to hand-pour two 8oz coconut wax candles into glass jars and customize with infused flowers and your own fragrance blend to take home with you!
Flower crowns are always a favorite fashion accessory! Come learn the mechanics and explore the beauty of making flower crowns under the guidance of our in-house flower crown expert, Tom Sebenius! This workshop provides the opportunity to create a beautiful, handcrafted floral crown, while learning a few professional techniques of floristry. All of the tools and materials you will need for the class will be provided, along with light refreshments! Wear your flower crown home or box it up as a gift!
Open Studios are for students who are interested in floral design and want to make a beautiful arrangement with the help of an experienced florist. This studio class provides the opportunity to create a seasonal, contemporary, garden style design while learning a few professional techniques of floristry. You then get to bring your arrangement home to enjoy!
Our Open Studio Class is also a great option for a variety of activities: professional team building time, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties and more. Making flower arrangements in this low-key setting is a fun way to connect and celebrate!

This series of classes is intended for beginning-level students who have an interest in learning foundation level skills in floral design. Skills include how to correctly handle and care for flowers, how to use a floral knife and clippers, and the conditioning of flowers for optimal vase-life longevity. This series teaches simple, high-end designs that highlight the flowers’ most beautiful and unique characteristics. Once learned, these designs can be recreated at home again and again.
After learning the basic floristry techniques in the Introductory Series, the Intermediate Series takes students to the next level of floristry. This program will teach students how to build recipes and purchase flowers at the Flower Market as well as how to manage scaling up their projects while delivering very fashionable designs.
