Programs Overview

For Beginners

New to floral design? Take our Beginner’s Open Studio class to learn tips and tricks for better designing.  This fun studio class provides the opportunity to create a beautiful, seasonal arrangement while learning some basic design principals.

Offered throughout the year, including seasonally themed classes and some Spanish-language options. Private and group sessions are available by request!


Floristry Skills

These classes include the Introductory Series, Intermediate Series, Intensive Series, Advanced Design Series, Event Design Series, Flower Shop Series and Advanced Wedding Series. Each series focuses on the principals of floristry and are meant for students to gain proficiency in proper techniques, flower procurement, flower conditioning and the foundation of high end floral designs, production and execution.


Master Classes

FlowerSchool’s signature Master Classes are unique one-time, two-hour programs taught by a variety of FlowerSchool Master Florists. These classes are open to all levels of skill. Here, students have the opportunity to work in an intimate setting with one of the world’s most influential, skilled and celebrated designers, and create masterpieces to take home with them!



These continuing education classes focus on a particular floral genre or method, and are geared more towards professional florists or enthusiasts looking to hone in on their craft. Courses vary in required skill levels.

Study Abroad

FlowerSchool provides exclusive curated experiences abroad visiting the world’s most vibrant floral communities including Mexico, Holland, England, Japan and France.

Floral Design Program

FlowerSchool New York’s Floral Design Program is a carefully designed series of courses that prepares students for careers in the floral design field. All programs are certified by the New York State Board of Education. This Professional Program is currently only offered in New York.
